First Edition Identifiers
This book was first published by Dark Horse Comics on Sep. 16, 1998. There was both a limited leather-bound issue which had a list price of $75, and a less expensive trade version with a list price of $14.95. The limited edition has four full-color plates illustrated by comics legend Michael Wm. Kaluta. The cover of both versions features a never-before-published painting by J. Allen St. John. There are many line drawings throughout in both editions. A total of 500 copies were printed of the limited leather edition.
