EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS SIGNATURES
... variations over the decades ...
Edgar Rice Burroughs’ second marriage was to Florence Gilbert Dearholt, and Florence’s little brother Eddie was a big ERB fan. Over the years Mr. Burroughs put his signature to dozens of books for Mr. Gilbert. Eddie Gilbert was the guest of honor at the 1999 Dum Dum and passed away the following year on June 27, 2000. His collection was auctioned off on 11/15/2001. Many of these signatures are from the Eddie Gilbert collection.
