Shipping within the continental U.S. is $5 for the first book and $2 for each additional book purchased. For insurance add $2 per $100 of the book cost, i.e. if the book cost $350, add $7 for insurance.

Llana of Gathol - 1st edition with original dust jacket

The book is like new unread condition, both inside and out, binding tight, pages white, top red stain unfaded. Only real flaw is the front lower right corner of the book has been bumped slightly. The dust jacket is an original in a protective brodart cover and is also in excellent condition, bright colors, not faded, has some very minor damage, i.e. small closed tears and a smudge about 3/16" or so.

Tarzan the Magnificent - 1st edition with dust jacket

This is the same book & dust jacket on ERBfirst.com, see here. The book is in near fine condition, the boards are clean and color is consistant on spine and covers. There is only very slight rubbing to the t both inside and out, binding tight, pages white, top red stain unfaded. The tips are not bumped and the edges have very little color loss. The binding is still fairly tight & hinges are fine. The top stain is slightly faded. On the inside front & rear covers & end papers a prior owner stamped their name in green . The pages have tanned somewhat but are still supple. The illustrations are all very white. No apparent interior damage, i.e. folded pages, tears, stains. The dust jacket is an original in good condition. It's most notable flaw is a 2" by 1" missing piece on the front cover. A photocopy piece from another dust jacket has been inserted that matches pretty closely with the original so that on first glance it isn't too noticable. There are also smaller tears primarily along the top and the color has faded on the spine of the jacket.

Tarzan and the Golden Lion - 1st edition

The book is in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition, The boards and spine are very clean and not faded. The bottom edge has worn tips. The binding is somewhat loose and slightly cocked, the gutters are fine, all 8 illustrations present though one illustrations edges are wrinkled from being detached from book at some point (now firmly glued in place). The pages are overall pretty clean and free of defects though there are some flaws.Come with a reproduction dust jacket.

BOOK RATINGS

POOR - binding coming apart, chunks of the cover or spine may be missing, extreme water damage, heavy soiling, missing pages or large open tears.
FAIR - Large tears in boards, heavily sun faded or soiled or stained, binding extremely loose, missing one or more illustrations, lots of labels or writing / scribbling, or combination of all.
GOOD - covers and spine intact except for maybe frayed edges or small cloth tears, a fair amount of soiling or fading to covers / spine, heavy spine lean, loose binding, heavily bumped corners, abnormal amount of writing, scribbles, or labels.
VERY GOOD - possibly loose binding, lesser amount of soiling , bumped corners, frayed ends or stains with lesser amounts of soiling / tears / writing to inner pages.
NEAR FINE - Very minimal defects, possibly small bumps, very light fade, average to strong binding, slight soiling.
FINE - book is almost like new, may have slight old book smell and pages a tad bit tanned, binding should be firm, no soiling or tears.
MINT - which should be like it was just printed, very tight binding with no defects; very few older books should ever be classified as mint.

In between these ratings a "+" can be used to indicate that the condition of the book is slightly better than the closest rating. Rating is subjective and not all defects of each catagory need to be present.
