This book was published by Canaveral Press on Nov. 25, 1963. The first edition will have "1963" printed on the Title page, and, the Title / Copyright page has been tipped in due to errors on the original Title pages. (click here to see a photo of a tipped in page). The words "First Edition" do not appear on the copyright page. The book is bound in various colors usually of a blue hue (see photo's to right and at bottom).

The dust jacket states "FIRST NEW BURROUGHS IN FIFTEEN YEARS". The dust jacket and six interior illustrations are by J. Allen St. John.
